Clinq for Advisors

Helping businesses raise capital is your expertise. Clinq gives you the infrastructure to do it at scale.

What is Clinq Africa?

Clinq Africa is a capital readiness and deal flow platform built for the East African market. We work with business founders and project developers to prepare them for funder engagement — scoring their readiness, organising their documentation, building their financial models, and matching them to the right funders based on their stage, sector, and capital needs.

On the other side of the platform, we connect vetted funders — angels, venture capital firms, development finance institutions, banks, revenue-based finance providers, and grant providers — to investment-ready opportunities that match their criteria.

The result is a structured, efficient capital raise process for both sides — founders who arrive prepared, and funders who receive quality deal flow without the noise.

How Clinq works

Every founder goes through a structured readiness journey before they ever speak to a funder.

Step 1 — Onboarding and Business Snapshot

Founders complete a guided onboarding process that captures the fundamentals of their business or project — what they do, who their customers are, how they make money, and what they are raising for.

Step 2 — Document Upload

Founders upload their key documents — pitch deck, financial model, management accounts, legal documents, and any additional documents relevant to their capital type. The platform guides them on exactly what is needed.

Step 3 — Capital Readiness Score

Our AI analysis engine runs a structured assessment across the founder's documentation and business fundamentals, generating a Capital Readiness Score out of 100. The score tells the founder — and the funder — exactly how ready the business is to raise capital, what its strengths are, and what gaps need to be addressed.

Step 4 — Capital Readiness Report

Founders receive a detailed Capital Readiness Report summarising their score, band, funder-route verdicts, and a clear action plan for improving their readiness where needed.

Step 5 — Funder Matching and Introduction

Once a founder reaches the minimum score threshold, they are visible to funders matched to their sector, stage, capital type, and raise size. When a funder expresses interest, Clinq facilitates a formal introduction and supports the process through to close.

Clinq for Advisors

You bring your clients onto the platform and manage their capital readiness journey on their behalf.

You work inside their account, upload their documents, run their analysis, and guide them through the process — all while Clinq's infrastructure does the heavy lifting.

Who is a Clinq Advisor?

Clinq Advisors are financial advisors, business consultants, accountants, investment bankers, and capital raising professionals who work with businesses and project developers seeking funding. If you regularly help clients prepare for capital raises, Clinq is built for you.

What can you do as an advisor on Clinq?

Once registered and approved, you can manage multiple client accounts from a single advisor dashboard. For each client you can upload documents, run AI analysis, download Capital Readiness Reports, and track their journey from onboarding through to funder introduction. You have full visibility of where every client stands at any point in time — without switching between accounts or chasing clients for updates.

How does the approval process work?

You register on the platform, sign the Clinq NDA and Advisor Terms, and list your clients. Each client receives an email to confirm they have authorised you to manage their account. Once client confirmation is in place, the Clinq team reviews and approves your advisor account. The whole process is designed to be straightforward and protect everyone involved.

How you earn as a Clinq Advisor

There are no caps and no complicated structures. Every client you bring onto the platform and support through their capital readiness journey contributes to your earnings. The more clients you manage and the further they progress on the platform — through scoring, reporting, and successful capital raises — the more you earn.

How payment works: Fees are tracked against your advisor account. You raise an invoice to Clinq Africa for fees earned and we process payment within 30 days of receipt. It is clean, transparent, and straightforward.
